LIBBY (MANIS) MIZE

Elizabeth Jane “Libby” Manis Mize, age 79, went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 6, 2023, at Life Care Center, in Dayton, Tennessee. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Thad Manis; mother, Etta Marie Manis; sister, Doris Ann Manis; and son, Jeremy Mize.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, loved her family unconditionally, and will be sadly missed by all.

Libby is survived by her husband, of 43 years, Tommy Mize; sons, Franklin Booth and Timmy Mize (Rachel McBay); daughters, Melanie Rievley Leffew (Randy), and Sunny (Michael) Angel; grandchildren, Bradley Booth, Taylor (Dakota) Dumke, Shaun (Kelli) Rievley, Brandon (Candice) Rievley, Dylan Angel (Catherine) (Rockland, MA), Brair Mize (Union City, TN), Jaelyn and Caleb Mize (Oneida, TN), Grace Vaughn, Kaylee Sarah McBay (Spring City, TN); and great grandchildren, Jordan Booth, Skylar and Ansley Rievley, and Case and Magnolia Dumke.   

She attended Word of Truth Church in Dayton and retired from La-Z-Boy after 37 years of service. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Chip Beaulieu officiating.  Interment will follow at Buttram cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
