LINNIE MAE (SUTTON) CLAYTON

Linnie Mae Clayton, age 86, of Evensville, TN passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  She was a lifelong resident and a Christian of Baptist faith, she loved her family and farming. She was a hard worker & a good mother, the strongest person you will ever meet.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Clayton, her parents, Arthur & Mary Sutton, brothers JL, Charles, Joseph, Bobby, and Alton Sutton, and sisters Annie Boles, and Kathy Gonzalez.

She is survived by 4 children, Terry Clayton, LaShawn Clayton, Tammy (Chuck) Johnson, Jenny (fiancé Bryan Derben) Clayton,  2 sisters, Fronie Dillard and  Susan Sutton, 1 brother, Herbert Sutton,  8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 17, 2024, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN.

Funeral Service will be Monday, March 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with Pastor Norman Husky officiating. Burial will be in the Smith-Wilkey Cemetery.
