Laura Ann Ashley

Laura Ann Ashley, 42, of Dayton, TN passed away February 5, 2020.

Laura was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Baptist faith. She loved everyone and taking care of her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by Gregory Payne, father of her children; paternal grandfather, Paul Ashley; maternal grandparents, Melvin and Nina Kilby and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her parents, Sharon (Ivan) Johnston of Dayton, TN and Larry (Debbie) Ashley of Soddy Daisy, TN; children, Whitnie and Avery Payne of Graysville, TN; paternal grandmother Dorothy Ashley of Dunlap, TN; sisters, Angela (Reuben) Hitchcox of Redbank, TN, Courtney Walker of Soddy Daisy, TN, Jamie Ashley of Dunlap, TN; brothers, Eric (Jess) Ashley, Charles Ashley Jr. and Travis Ashley all of Soddy Daisy, TN, Kyle Ashley of Dunlap, TN, Ernie Cowgill of Graysville, TN; grandchildren, Harper, Ryker and Harlee Pankey and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Service will be Monday, February 10, 2020 at 12:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Hawkins officiating.

Family will receive friends Sunday, February 09, 2020 from 5:00-8:00pm.

Interment will be at Shubird Cemerty in Sequatchie County.
