Lavern Louise (Reed) Stewart

Lavern Louise Reed Stewart, age 75, of Hixson, TN, passed away on March 16, 2022, at Life Care Center in Athens, TN. She was of the Christian Faith. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She helped raise and care for three generations of kids.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Susie Reed; and her daughter: Rhonda Rose.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years: Jimmy Stewart; children: Patricia (Terry) Bowen of Norcross, GA, Kelly Stewart (Tara Haynes) of Mobile, AL, and Joanna Stewart of Dickenson, ND; brothers: Lee Reed, Kenneth (Linda) Reed, Titus Reed, and Delbert Reed; sisters: Judy (Eddie) Cox, and Brenda (Ricky) Thomas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 2 PM, on Sunday, March 20, 2022, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Talley and Pastor Kyle Hinch officiating. Interment will follow at Spring City Memorial Gardens. 

The family will receive friends from 5 PM-8 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
