Lee Roy Cranfill, age 83, passed away at his home November 21, 2022. He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and attended Ogden Baptist Church. He loved woodworking, farming, and hunting, and he would always help anyone who needed it.
Lee Roy was preceded in death by his brothers, James David Cranfill, Robert Gurly Cranfill, and Walter William Cranfill; sisters, Zella Mae Cranfill, and Barbara Nell Sinclair.
Lee Roy is survived by his wife, Helen W. Cranfill; sons, Louis (Lori) Cranfill and Chris (Tammy) Cranfill; sisters, Anna Ruth Case, Betty Stroub, and Kathy Aslinger (Mike); grandchildren, Natasha, Christopher-Aaron, and Lindsey, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. Interment will follow at Ogden Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00-2:00pm.
Pallbearers will be: Allen Rogers, Bobby Cranfill, Billy Cranfill, Doug Weller, Duane Weller, and Joe Weller.
Honorary Pallbearers: Clay Henderson, Jewell Francisco, Levi Campbell, Johnny Denton, Tommy Thompson, and Earl Travis Jr.
