Lennie Alice (Travis) Sneed

Mrs. Lennie Alice Sneed, 97, died at her home in Dayton, TN December 30, 2023. She was born in Dayton, TN to Lester and Lena Travis August 24, 1926. A lifelong residence, Lennie Alice was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church in Dayton. She was very active in church and Precept Bible Ministries until recent failing health kept her away. Everything she did was for the grace and glory of her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Mrs. Sneed enjoyed the outdoors and gardening sharing her plants with everyone. She was an intern in the University of Tennessee master gardeners at the young age of 92!

Lennie Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alvin Richard Sneed; brothers, Bob and Joe Travis; sisters, Helen Travis, Shirley Barnett, Anne Roddy, Maxine White, and Imogene Powell.

Mrs. Sneed is survived by her daughter Mary Price and her husband Larry; two grandchildren, Allyson (Jared) Cochran and Mathew Price; sister, Bennie (Bob) Aikman; a host of nieces and nephews; and Perl.

Funeral service will held at 1PM January 3, 2024 in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 11AM until service time. Burial will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens.
