Levi Chandler Mize, age 25, was born April 6, 1999, to Jeff and Kristie Mize of Dayton. He was a lifelong resident, of Christian faith, a great father, son and brother, a beautiful person with a beautiful smile that could make anyone laugh. He was a very caring friend, and he loved playing basketball, working out, playing board games, fishing and was also a great artist.
Levi was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents, Carol and Masel Reed, and great- grandmother Betty Morgan, maternal grandparents, Lloyd Bruce Patterson; and grandmother, Geraldine Ward.
He is survived by his wife, Haley Woods, of Spring City, TN; mother, Kristie (Patterson) Mize, father, Jeff Mize, of Kingston, TN; four children, Brandalynn “Bam”, Zavarii (“Zam”), Astrik Kai, and Phoenix Spence (Bridgett Cooper); grandmothers, Bessie Patterson of Dayton, and grandparents, Kern and Mary Mize of OH; two sisters, Jordan (Kodi Parker) Mize, and Pru Mize; three brothers, Tyler Mize, Dimitrius (Whitney) Patterson, and Noel Patterson; great aunt and uncle, Gordon and Sally Reed; aunts, Pamela Long of Dayton, and Mindy (Corey) Blackburn of OH; uncles, David (Jesse) Long, and Greg Long, Dennis (Bobbi) Patterson, Brandon (Tasha) Mize of Atlanta; special uncles Jesse and Jim, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home. The service will follow at 3:00 PM in the Chapel. Pastor Caleb Bolten and Pastor Bobby Scott will be officiating. Burial will follow in Gravett Cemetery.
