Lewis Edward Howard

Mr. Lewis Howard, 76, of Evensville, TN passed away at his residence Wednesday, December 13, 2023. Born March 23, 1947 to Charlie and Addie Howard in Harriman, TN, he was a shift engineer for TVA until his retirement after twenty-five years. A member of the Pleasantdale Baptist Church in Evensville, TN, he was a man who loved the Lord and his family. He was a great father and grandfather and a loving and loyal husband. Lewis loved fishing, but his greatest love was aggravating those he cherished, Lewis never met a stranger and was always eager to befriend those whom he met.

Mr. Howard is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Addie Carter Howard and an older brother who died at the young age of three.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Ann Hamby Howard of Evensville, TN; two sons, Brian and wife Angie, and Lawrence and wife Staphanie of Dayton, TN; one sister, Ethel Daugherty and her husband James of Wartburg, TN; and six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2PM Saturday, December 16, 2023  in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev Waymond Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until service at 2PM at the funeral home.
