MARCENIA GAYE (EVERETT) SISSON

Marcenia Gaye Sisson, 75, a life-long resident of Sale Creek, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at CHI Memorial Hospital in Hixson, Tennessee.  She attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Sale Creek.

She enjoyed traveling, working out at the YMCA, flowers, gardening, and yard work. 

Marcenia is preceded in death by her parents J. B. and Ella Everett; and brother, Norman Everett.   

She is survived by her son, Scott Hamby; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Reverend Ronnie Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church cemetery.
