MARILYN JOYCE (WESTERWAL) COWDEN

Marilyn Joyce Cowden, 81, passed away at her home in Hixson, TN, on May 14, 2023.  She was of the Baptist faith and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Red Bank.  Marilyn will be greatly missed.                 

Marilyn was preceded in death by her children, James Westerwal and Bobby “Robert” Westerwal; and her step-father, Samuel Thomas.

She is survived by her spouse, Guy Cowden; mother, Grace Lesher; daughter, Sherri Rightmire; son, Randy Westerwal; brother, Neil Thomas; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held graveside at French Cemetery on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 6:00 PM with Reverend Greg Powell officiating.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 4:30 until 5:40 PM.
