Margaret Evelyn Brady, 88, of Dayton passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family at home on Thursday, November 14th, 2024 after battling cancer. Born February 20th, 1936, she was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. Retired from Bi-Lo in Dayton. She was a member of Mount Vernon Baptist in Sale Creek. She is preceded in death by parents; John and Gertie Collins, husband of 70 years; Stanley Brady, sons; Steven Lynn and Douglas Collins Brady, sister in law; Odessa Harris. She is survived by son; Curtis (Becky) Brady, Granddaughter; Darcy (Jonathon) Maynor, great grandson; Cameron Maynor and her best fur buddy Dottie Mae Brady and Brother in law; Colonel Harris and many nieces and nephews and dear family friends. A special thank you to Hearth Hospice for allowing her to be at home with her family during her final days. The family asks that in lieu of flowers you make a donation to the charity of your choice. Services will be held at Coulter Garrison funeral home in Dayton at 2:00pm Saturday, November 16, 2024 with Barry Purser officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:00pm until the time of the service. Interment will be a Spence Cemetery.
