Margaret Sue (Huston) Clark

Margaret Sue Clark, 79, of Dayton TN, passed away at her home surrounded by her family Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born in Pikeville, TN February 7, 1947 to the late Garland and Lola Smith Huston. Sue was one in a million, the glue that held her family together and the rock on which they stood. She was a strong woman and the best mom. She was the most wonderful woman on the face of the earth as quoted by her late husband Phillip.

Ms. Clark is preceded in death by her husband Phillip Clark; parents, Garland and Lola Huston; grandson, Jerry M Ray; brothers, Donnie and Randall Huston; sisters, Tammy Bickford, Pat White, Debbie Morgan, and Nancy Cunningham.

Sue leaves behind her two daughters, Mercedes “Mercy” (Gary) Crawley and Connie (David) Gilbert; one sister, Wanda Hitchcock; one grandson, Justin Ray: three greatgrandchildren, Blake Harvey, and Zoey and Jerry Ray; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 3PM in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-9PM Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Interment will be in Spring City Memory Garden.
