Margaret Pauline (Jenkins) Thompson

Obituary

Margaret Pauline Jenkins Thompson, age 97, of Dayton, TN, passed away on April 3, 2022 at Erlanger Hospital. She was lifelong residence of Rhea County and a member of Kelly Grove Baptist Church. Margaret enjoyed arranging flowers, her stray animals, she loved babies and more than anything loved telling people about Jesus. She was always encouraging people by letting them know she was praying for them and even till the very end she prayed for the Doctors and nurses.

She is preceded in death by her husband Wallace Thompson, Brothers; Seaborn Jenkins, Jack Jenkins, James Edward Jenkins, Cleo Jenkins and John Jenkins, Sisters; Stella Suttles, Tennie Belcher, Naomi “Pat” McKenzie, Alton Delashmitt, Aileen Creekmore and Eva Goebel.

She is survived by her sister Betty Fransisco and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service for Margaret on Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 12:30 PM at Buttram Cemetery with Rev Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday April 6, 2022 from 11-12 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.
