Marvin Walter McMillan

Marvin Walter McMillan passed away February, 20th, 2021 at his home in Dayton, TN. 

He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Protestant faith. He served in the United States Army, was a Master Mason with the Masonic Lodge #512 as well as a member of the York Rite and Scottish Rite. He loved his family and church family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Yates McMillan; father, William McMillan; mother, Effie McKenzie McMillan.

He is survived by his son, Michael McMillan (Phyllis) of Dayton; sister, Ruby McMillan Hicks of Dayton); grandchildren, Steven McMillan (Carol) and Eric McMillan (Anna) both of Dayton; great grandchildren, Eli, Conner and Savanna McMillan of Dayton as well as Mason and Autumn McMillan of Montana.

Special brother-in-law Gene Yates and cousin Brenda Hixson.  

 Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 at 1:00PM in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Suttles officiating.

 Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 24th, 2021 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM

Interment to follow at Rhea Memory Gardens.
