Mavis Ann Webb

Mavis Webb, age 92 of Dayton, TN, passed away on January 19, 2022, at her home. She was a lifelong resident of Dayton, TN, and was of the Baptist faith. She was a hero and best friend to her family. She co-owned and operated Hi-Way Food Market in Evensville, TN, for many years and later became a rural mail carrier for the Dayton Post Office. 

She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Maude (Kile) Roddy. She was preceded in death by her husband; Dennis Webb; brother Clyde Roddy; and sisters, Mildred Roddy, and Blanche Riggs.

She is survived by her daughter Carolyn Webb of Evensville, TN., grandchildren, Cara Dulaney, Amanda (Aaron) Goins, and Kile Akins, great-grandchildren, Madeline, Allie and Amos Goins, and Courtney, Chelsea, and Chase Atkins.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home chapel, with Dr. Roger Rothwell and Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Granny’s Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.
