Melrose Godbehere Obituary

Melrose Godbehere, 86, passed away September 30, 2020 at her home in Dayton, TN.

Melrose was born in Bledsoe County and moved to Rhea County after her marriage to Andy. She was a member of Garrison Baptist Church and retired from Kayser Roth after 45 years as an inspector.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Lessie Swafford; husband, Andy Godbehere; brothers, Harold and Carl Swafford ; sisters, Carnita Lorenzo and Billie Hall and son-in-law, David Santos.

She is survived by her children Shelly (Kenny) Crowe, Marsha Santos and Stephen (Tiffany) Godbehere; sister, Nancy Headlee; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Service will be Friday, October 2, 2020 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Dr. Barry Purser and Dr. Mike Breeden officiating.

Family will receive friends Thursday, October 1, 2020 from 4:00-8:00pm.

Interment will be in Rhea Memory Gardens.

Family strongly encourage that mask be worn.
