Murrell England Obituary

Murrell Dean England, 69, passed away April 22, 2020 at his home in Evensville, TN.

Murrell was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S Army, a member of Shriners, Masonic Lodge at Rhea Springs, president of Am Vets post # 90, IBEW local 175 and active in Rhea County Democratic party. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, being on the lake and spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Helen England, first wife, Shannon England, daughter, Tammy Whitted, 2 sisters and 1 brother.

He is survived by his children, John (Michelle) England of Maryland, Angela (J.J. Sanderson) England of Savannah, GA, Joshua (Jennifer) Gentry of Evensville, TN; son-in-law, Ronnie Whitted of Decatur, TN; grandchildren, Kimberley and Christy Whitted, Tori and Taylen Gentry, Briar England, Andrea Brogdon, Justin, Tyler and Addison England; special great grandchildren, Addyson and Wyatt Goss and Isla Russell; several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

A private family graveside service will be held Sunday, April 26, 2020 at Smyrna Cemetery with Dr. Roger Rothwell officiating.
