Myra Caldwell (Jerri), age 65, of Dayton passed away on September 12, 2022 at her home. She moved here from Louisiana eight years ago, she was a wonderful mother who loved Jesus, her children, and her family dearly. Of course we can’t forget about her beloved dog, Blue, either. She was very outspoken and loved going thrifting, she was an incurable shopaholic. Out of all her children, grandchildren, and even great-grandchildren, it is rumored that KJ was her absolute favorite.
Myra was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Hultz; sisters, Jessie Barnum, Melvina Berry, and Lisa Hultz.
She will be loved and remembered by her boyfriend, Robert Bourgoyne “Byrd”; father, Melvin Caldwell, Sr.; children, Chrissy (Jesse) Leonard, Bobby (Julie) Harris, Kelly (Matt) Sullivan, and Robbie Lee (Larry) Mayberry; brother, Melvin Caldwell, Jr.; as well as 17 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
