Myrtice Peavyhouse Obituary

Myrtice Peavyhouse, 93, passed away August 28, 2019 at her home in Dayton, TN.

Myrtice was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. She attended Smyrna Baptist Church and retired from Kayser Roth Hosiery Mill.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George Mickel and Elsie Stinnett Mickel; husband, Bill Peavyhouse and brothers, Kenneth, Clarence, Marvin, and Clyde Mickel.

She is survived by sisters, Melrose Mickel, Willie Mae Swafford, Georgia Locke all of Dayton, TN and Lois (Jeff) Coppinger of Graysville, TN; brothers, Felix ( Mildred) Mickel of Evensville, TN, Jim ( Sandra) Mickel, Bobby (Janice) Mickel, Rick (Yvonne) Mickel, Sam (Virginia) Mickel all of Dayton, TN, Gene (Carolyn) Mickel of Whitwell, TN; sister-in law, Doras Mickel of Chattanooga, TN and numerous nieces and nephews.

Service will be Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00am in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with DR. Roger Rothwell and Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

Family will receive friends Friday, August 30, 2019 after 3:00pm.

Interment will be at Buttram Cemetery.
