Naomi Lois (Cordell) Wallace

Naomi L. Wallace, 79, passed away on November 8, 2021. She was a life-long resident of Rhea County and of the Potter’s House of Prayer faith. Naomi was loved by everybody. She was a good wife and mother, and loved her Lord with all her heart and soul.

She was preceded in death by her father, Olen Cordell; mother, Bertha Clayton; sister, Brenda Cordell; daughter, Annette Howard; and son, Taylor Leroy Downs.

Naomi is survived by her husband, Bill Wallace; daughters, Rhonda Sims, and Josette (Dan) French; sons, Olen (Joann) Downs, and Shannon Downs; grandchildren, Jennifer Elliot, Sonja Dabbs, Ashley Williams, Laura Gentry, Sara Parker, Robert Parker, Jason Downs, Jacob Downs, and Jesse Sims; and eleven great grandchildren.

Service for Naomi will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday November 14, 2021, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel French and Pastor Aaron Jump officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
