Mr. Nathan Dyer, 67, of Dayton, TN passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026. Mr. Dyer was a life-long resident, a kind person with a good heart who would share anything he had with others. He loved his family and most importantly, he loved God. Although he was not perfect; he was a gentle giant among friends. Nathan loved working outside, extremely fond of outdoors, he could be found walking most every day.
Nathan is preceded in death his by his father Gilbert Johnson; Mother, Evadna Dyer; grandmother, Henrietta Wilkerson Dyer Smith; brothers, Gilbert Anthony Johnson and Dexter Martin; along with many aunts and uncles.
Mr. Dyer is survived by his son, Valentino Dyer; two brothers, Jeffery Carlos Johnson of Burwick, ME, Joel Rodney Johnson of Bakewell, TN, and Larry Ray of Spring City, TN; one sister, Bridgette Blue; one grandchild, several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Funeral service will be held at 3PM Saturday, May 30, 2026 in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Teresa Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1pm until service time.
