Oma Lee Yeargan, 69, of Pikeville, TN went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024. She was born September 18th, 1954 in Dayton, TN to Vaughn and Viola Morgan. Mrs. Yeargan was a lifelong resident of this area and was a member of Cranmore Cove Baptist Church. Oma had a great sense of humor and loved entertaining. She loved sewing, games, cookouts, and most of all, she loved her family.
Mrs. Yeargan is preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Viola Morgan; husband, William “Sonny” Yeargan; brothers, Arthur and Robert Morgan; and sister, Martha Louise Morgan.
Oma is survived by her four children Chris (Mandy) Yeargan, Jeff (Tracy) Yeargan, Greg (Jeannie) Yeargan, and Mark (Angie) Yeargan; her five sisters Frances Ward, Mary Hartman, Joy (Ray) Hodge, Sally (Rick) Lynch, and Alta Lehmkuhler; her brother Jimmy Ray (Carolyn) Morgan; eleven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 1PM EST Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Summer City Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5PM to 7PM on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024. A visitation will also be held from 12PM until the time of the service.
