PAT EARLENE (DESHA) HARRIS

Pat Harris, age 82, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Born on February 7, 1944, in San Antonio, Texas, Pat was the beloved daughter of the late Earl and Beatrice Desha. A devoted Christian, she was a faithful member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Lebanon, where she lived out her faith through kindness, compassion, and a genuine love for others.

Pat was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend. She never met a stranger and had a remarkable gift for making everyone she encountered feel welcome. Her warm smile, generous heart, and caring spirit touched countless lives, and her absence leaves the world a little less bright.

Pat found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She was an avid golfer who enjoyed time on the course with family and friends. She also loved crafting, painting, and drawing, expressing her creativity in ways that brought beauty and happiness to those around her. Above all, Pat treasured the time she spent with her family, creating memories that will be cherished for generations.

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her brother, James Desha.

She leaves behind the love of her life and devoted husband of 61 years, Tommy Harris; her son, Thomas Lee Harris and his wife, Beth, of Temple, Texas; her daughter, Tricia Harris Cohen and her husband, Steve, of Lebanon, Tennessee; her beloved grandchildren, Alexa Harris, Carson Harris, and Zachary Cohen; her brother, Ronald Desha; her brothers-in-law, Colonel Harris and his wife, Joyce, and Ronnie Harris and his wife, Gloria; and her sisters-in-law, Eva Layman, Betty Pendergrass, and Charlotte Harris. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family members who will forever cherish her memory.

A funeral service to celebrate Pat's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Barry Walls and Dr. Danny Ruehling officiating. Interment will follow at Spence Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.

Though her earthly journey has ended, Pat's legacy of faith, love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
