Patsy Harrison Arnold, age 82, went home to be with the Lord on August 21, 2026, at The Groves in Athens, Tennessee. She was born on October 23, 1943, in Spring City, Tennessee, to the late Hubert Zeno Harrison and Margaret Mitchell Harrison.
Patsy was a devoted member of Cave Creek Baptist Church in Kingston, Tennessee. She was also a 50-year member of Dayton Chapter No. 360, Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Grand Organist for the Tennessee Order of the Eastern Star from 2011 to 2012 and as Grand Representative to Puerto Rico. Patsy had a deep love for gospel music and especially enjoyed sharing her musical gift with others.
In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, the Reverend Walter William Arnold; her son, Steven Bradley Arnold; and her brother, James Boyd Harrison.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Jamie Lynette Morgan and her husband, Daniel, and Penieca Ann Arnold; six grandchildren, Brittany Hay, Briar Morgan, Payne Morgan, Brett Arnold, Hailey Stewart, and Precious Arnold; ten great-grandchildren, Gavin, Peyton, Rowan, Haustin, Sophie, Hank, Rory, Savannah, Allister, and Judah; and two nephews, James Zeno Harrison and Avery D. Harrison.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, with the Reverend Paul “Yogi” White and the Reverend David Coffman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, and for one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.
Interment will follow at Rhea Memory Gardens.
