Paul Henry Suttles, 88, of Cleveland Tennessee passed away at his home on Thursday, September 7, 2023. He was a life long resident of Rhea County and a member of Norman’s Chapel in Dayton. As a veteran of the United States Army he served his country with pride. Paul was passionate about fishing, it was one of his favorite things to do. He also loved to go rabbit hunting and working in his garden, but at the end of the day he enjoyed sitting on his front porch.
He is preceded in death by his wife; Ruby Ann Sneed Suttles, parents; Earl and Missouri Suttles and brothers and sisters.
Paul is survived by his children; Carolyn Morris (Norman) of Burlington, NC, Becky Stinnett (Rick) of Graysville, TN and Andrew (Charlotte) Suttles of Cleveland, TN. Brother; Junior (Sue) Suttles of Spring City, grandchildren; Timothy Mize (Rachel), Angela Gossett (Tim), Chris Stinnett (Dawn), and Tommy Suttles, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Clarence Partin officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Buttram Cemetery with Military Honors.
