Pete Creasman Obituary

Daniel Pete Creasman, 55, of Graysville, passed away Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, at CHI Memorial Hospital-Hixson after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his memory by living their lives to the fullest as he would have wanted. Pete was born on Dec. 21, 1965, and was a lifelong resident of Rhea County.

Pete is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Jeanette; mother, Helen (Fred) Sprouse of Spring City; son, Drew Creasman of Graysville; daughter, Daryl Creasman of Dayton; stepchildren, Matthew Rogers and Kayla Moore of Graysville; grandchildren, Tyler Guy of Wichita Falls, Texas, Emma Dodd of Dayton, Brody and Easton Tilley, and Taya Barnes all of Graysville, and Madison and Abby Riley of Dayton; brother, Jimmy Creasman of Dayton; sisters, Tina Hansen of Dayton and Margie (Rusty) Clark of Graysville; and several nieces and nephews.

Pete was preceded in death by his father, Clay Creasman, Jr.; paternal grandparents, Clay and Louie Creasman; and maternal grandparents, Dan and Ruby Defore.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Pete. He was an avid fan of the TN Vols, he loved hunting, being outdoors, home projects and spending time with his family. His grandsons, Brody and Easton, were his special little sidekicks that brightened his day and he had a great love for his mother, Helen. Pete was known and will always be remembered for his kindheartedness and generosity. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
