Regina “Jeanne” Ann Thomas (nee Alley) of Haddonfield, New Jersey, passed away on April 25, 2024 at age 74. Jeanne was born and raised in Garden City, Michigan and moved to Haddonfield, New Jersey in 2020 after living for many years in Tennessee. Jeanne was a dear and loyal friend to many, and a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved mother, Maude Alley (nee Wright) of Spring City, Tennessee, her son Chris (Tracy) of White Lake, Michigan, daughter Tracy (Scott) of Haddonfield, New Jersey,, grandchildren Gabrielle, Sydney, Blake, Isabella, Violet, Brendan and Nick, sisters Denise (Brad), Nancy (Ed), niece Jennifer and nephew Noah. Jeanne is predeceased by her father, Ernest “Carl” Alley. Jeanne was a retired cosmetologist who worked for many years in Roane County, Tennessee and had a dedicated clientele, many who became dear friends. Jeanne never met a stranger and she regularly had people share their life story with her within the first few minutes of meeting them. Jeanne overcame many health issues throughout her adult life but always kept a positive attitude and left more than one doctor amazed at her ability to overcome. When many people would have given up, she kept going, looking beautiful all the while. Jeanne was loved deeply and her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she may no longer be with us, her presence will forever be felt in our hearts and her love will live on in her children and grandchildren. A viewing and services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 2:00pm (viewing), 3:00pm (service) at First Baptist Church of Spring City, 374 W. Jackson, Spring City, TN 37381.
