Raymond Alvin Flory, 81, of Dayton, TN died January 2, 2025.Born May 20, 1944, in LaSalle, Michigan to Louis and Bernetta (Iott) Flory, he grew up there on dairy farm. After high school, he got a job with La-Z-Boy Chair Company in Monroe, MI. He married Sharon Cowan on November 7, 1964, with whom he had 6 children. He was transferred to the new La-Z-Boy plant in Dayton, TN in 1973 and retired in 1999. He spent his retirement enjoying his farm and his tractor.
Raymond was preceded in death by parents Louis and Bernetta Flory; sisters Martha Flory, Agnes Nagel, Mary Deland, and Angela Deland; brother John Flory; and by grandson Garrett Barnett
He is survived by sisters Ruth Masserant and Louise Hempel, wife Sharon Flory, children Martha (Jim) Barnett, Aaron Flory, Karen (Tim) Davis, Matthew (Christi) Flory, Adam (Nicole) Flory, and Janet (Mark) Junkins, grandchildren Cassidy (Josef) Enns, Lauren (Oscar) Gaytan, Connor Sims, Sarah Sims, Austin Flory, Hunter Flory, McCall (Michael) Greenlee, McClaine Flory, McKinley Flory, Sawyer Junkins, Ansley Junkins, Turner Junkins, and 4 great-grandchildren.
