Reba Mae Hutsell, age 83, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. She was born on May 19, 1942, in Dayton, Tennessee, to Barnett and Ida Bishop Harris.
Reba was a lifelong resident of the area and worked for many years as a food service employee, in the school system. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and devoting her life to serving Christ. She attended the Friendship Full Gospel Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Paul Harris, Earl Harris, Clyde Harris, Thurman Harris, and Harold Harris.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jack Hutsell; children, Darlene Smith, Mike (Bonnie) Hutsell, and Keith (Allene) Hutsell; grandchildren, Michael (Summer) Hutsell, Christina Hutsell, Jeremy (Jill) Higdon, Andy Higdon, and Barbara Daniels; great-grandchildren, McKenna Hutsell and Crawford Higdon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Sandell and Bro. Robert Filyaw officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
