Rex Allen Swift (Ric) 60 of Evensville, TN passed away Tuesday July 26, 2022 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. Rex was born and raised in the Chicago area, but was often in the Morgantown area visiting with his grandparents (Red and Amanda Dillard Swift) and eventually moved to and remained in Evensville.
He was a concrete mason by trade and had a passion for Harleys, Hot-Rods, and Game-Cock. He was a gentle giant who loved good music! Rex was a man of many jokes. If you knew him, you loved him!
He is preceded in death by his father; Allen Swift, mother; Faye Shepherd, great nephew; Stryker, father-in-law; Arthur Knox, and uncle; Jim Swift.
Rex leaves behind his wife; Robin Knox Swift, children; Zander Swift, Rex (Arleatha) Swift, Jessica (Cody) Lang, Drew Bowman, and Estan (Megan) Knox, four grandchildren; T-Rex Swift, Karter and Raelynn Knox, and Mauricio Valdez, former spouse; Diana Symmes, brothers; Jimbo (Vicky) Swift and Dallas (Teri) Swift and many nieces, nephews and cousins whom he had a special bond with and loved spending time with. He also leaves behind dear friends; Bill McCoy and Donnie Burton.
The family will receive friends Saturday August 6, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home.
