Rhonda K (Hill) Purser

Mrs. Rhonda Hill Purser, 74, of Dayton, TN, passed away at her residence Saturday, July 27, 2024. Rhonda was born to Caleb “Shep” and Virgina Jo (Tucker) Hill December 8, 1949, in Dayton, TN. She was a lifelong resident, graduating from Rhea Central High School in 1967, and a member of Mountain View United Methodist Church.

Rhonda is preceded in death by her parents, Caleb “Shep” and Virginia “Jo” Hill.

Mrs. Purser is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Jim Purser; two sisters, Beverly Hicks and Reba Everett, and one brother Bart (Debbie) Hill. Rhonda is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews, and great-grand nieces and nephews, whom she cared for and loved like her own.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at 2PM in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home, with Rev. Bill Ewing officiating, and burial following in Buttram Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8PM, Monday July 29, 2024, at the funeral home.
