Rodney Mitchell Lamont, 62, lost his battle with cancer in his home on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. He moved to Dayton, TN. about 1 and 1/2 years ago from Pennsylvania and was of the Catholic Faith. He was a wood worker and made muzzleloaders: an outdoorsman who liked to fish and hunt.
Rodney was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife Cindy Vogan Lamont; three children, Jay Lamont, Eric Lamont, Nichole Lamont; two stepchildren, Edward Keener, and Mamie Thomas; two sisters, Donna Lamont and Ella Lomont; and one brother; Tom Lamont. As well as nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
