Rosa Houston Obituary

Rosa Lee Houston, 80, of Evensville, TN passed away July 29, 2020 at Parkridge Hospital.

She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and of the Methodist faith. She worked many years at Rhea Medical Center. She loved her family, her cats and dogs, her flowers and being outdoors.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ida Travis; husband, James Houston; sister, Faith Travis and brother, Dean Travis.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (John) Frazier of Harriman, TN, Grace Houston, Rosa (Will) Weaver and Laura Houston all of Evensville, TN; sisters, Katherine Cox, Ida Lee Creasman, Polly Tyler all of Dayton, TN, Geraldine Bishop of Wildwood, GA; brothers, Earl Travis Jr. and Paul Travis of Dayton, TN; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a special niece, Sandra Riley and Herb Bates of GA.

Graveside service will be held Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 2:30pm at Smyrna Cemetery with Rev. Rusty Revis officiating.
Visitation was Friday July 31, 2020 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
