Ruby Mae (Dyer) Meador

Ruby Mae Dyer Meador age 92, passed away at her home November 23, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and and a member of Corvin Road Baptist Church. She loved to read and work word puzzles, Ruby loved being surrounded by her family.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Meador; parents, Cicero and Maggie Dyer; brothers, Ralph Evert Norman, Raymond, and Denzel Dyer; sister, Edith Pedigo; sons, Ray and Billy Meador; and daughter, Audrea Keltch.

Ruby is survived by her daughter, Sue (Tommy) Thurman; brother, Kenneth Dyer; sister, Oleta Dowden; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Bro. Steve James officiating. Interment will follow at Spivey Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2022 from 4:00-8:00pm.
