SHIRLEY ANN WRIGHT

Shirley Ann Wright, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.  She was a life-long resident of Dayton, Tennessee and was a member of the Morgantown Baptist Church.

Shirley was born in Grandview, TN on April 22, 1942, at her grandmother’s house.  Her parents moved the family to Morgantown when she was 5 years old.  This is where she lived her entire life, but her heart was always in Grandview.  She loved talking about her family and was a wealth of information.  She will be missed by all. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lucille Wright; and brother, Tony Wright. 

Shirley is survived by her sister-in-law, Denise Wright; nieces, Lisa Creesman and April Putnel; many great nieces and nephews; and cousins, Franklin, Gene, and Bobby Lemons from Grandview, Tennessee. 

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Spring City Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday December 10, 2023, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.
