STEVEN CASEY MAY

Steven “Casey” May, 32, passed away on July 19, 2023, in Chattanooga.  He was a lifelong resident of Sale Creek.  He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.

Casey was a jokester and loved stand-up comedy.  His hobbies included building things, painting pictures, singing, writing songs, baseball, and deer hunting.  He especially cherished spending time with his kids and doing crafts with them. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Arlene Lewis; paternal grandparents, George and Bobbie May; uncle, Jerry May; and Aunt, Kathie May Whilhoit.

Casey is survived by his parents, Kim and Steve May; children, Madison Grace May and Mason Wade May; brother, Zachery (Felicia) May; nephews, Kylynn and Chance May; and aunts,  Saundra (Jimmy Fukete) Ball, Val Lewis, Sandra Martin, Robbie (Mark) Alexander, and Sandra May.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Gary Glenn Roberts officiating.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and also Tuesday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Burchard Cemetery. 

Following the interment the family would like to invite everyone to come to the Sale Creek Volunteer Fire Department to celebrate Casey's life from 3 until 6PM.  Food will be provided by the family.
