SUSAN ELLEN (SMITH) MINTON

Susan Ellen Smith Minton, 56, of Dayton, Tennessee passed away on May 27, 2023, at Chattanooga, TN.  She was a life-long resident of Rhea County.  Susan had a heart of gold; thought more of others than herself; and was a great friend.  She loved loud music, animals, and gardening.  She will be greatly missed. 

Susan is preceded in death by her parents, William and Darcy Smith; brothers, Billy and Robert Smith; and husband, Kenneth Michael Minton.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Minton and Wendy Nichole Smith; brother, Benjamin Smith; three grandchildren, Misty White, Kenneth Gonzalez, and Isabella Smith; nephew, William Millaway Smith, III; and nieces, Tabatha, Amber, and Crystal Smith.   

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
