Selba was a longtime resident of Rhea County, worked 23 years at Frazier School and was a wonderful grandmother. She also loved her family and hummingbirds. Selba was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church in Graysville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Emma Travis Elsea, a son; Sam Beaty, a sister; Lois Roddy, and one brother; David Elsea.
She is survived by her Husband, George Beaty of Evensville, Tn, one son; George Edward Beaty of Dayton, three sisters; Ellen Miller of Evensville, TN, Sue Levi and Freda Woods both of Dayton, one brother; Edward Elsea of Bakewell, TN, two grandchildren; Emily Beaty and Dylan Beaty, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday March 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral home with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald and Rev. Bill Hall officiating. Interment will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
