Stanley McPherson Obituary

Stanley passed away March 25, 2020 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton, TN.

Stanley was born November 18, 1937 in Homestead, TN. He lived most of his life in Evensville, TN with his wife of 58 years, Diane Crowe McPherson. Together, they raised five children, Will (Kim) McPherson, Sherry (Chuck) Keltch, Kathy (Dean) Swafford, Lisa (Skip) Mason, John (Christina McPherson. He was very proud of his 10 grandchildren, Tony Keltch, Paige (Christopher) Brown, Joshua Mason, Zac Holbrook, Hannah-Kate Holbrook, Xander McPherson, Aaliyah-Kate McPherson, Robert Swafford, Brenda Flatt, Dino Swafford. He was also excited about his first Great-grandson, Mason Brown, due in April.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bob McPherson of Spring City; mother, Verna L. McPherson of Ringgold, GA and brother, Jim McPherson of Ringgold, GA.

He is survived by his sisters, Jeffie Upton of Smithville, AL, Mary Stanley of Ringgold, GA; brother, Tommy McPherson of Chickamauga GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church or The Grove.

The family will schedule memorial service at a later date.
