THOMAS "MIKE" MICHAEL PELFREY, SR.

Thomas “Mike” Pelfrey, Sr., age 76, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024, in Soddy-Daisy, TN. He was born February 17, 1948, to Charles A. and Nell (Olinger) Pelfrey, in Bledsoe County, TN. He was a lifelong resident of the area and of Baptist faith, he enjoyed farming and fishing, and was an Army veteran.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles A. and Nell (Olinger) Pelfrey; brothers, Charles Leonard Pelfrey, of Pikeville, TN, and John Pelfrey, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

He is survived by his two children, Scottie Michael (Amanda) Pelfrey, of Ocala, FL, and Thomas “Tommy” (Ellen) Pelfrey, Jr., of Pikeville, TN; brother, Roy L. Pelfrey, of Pikeville, TN; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Sunday, July 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM, at Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home in Dayton, TN, with Reverend Jimmy Jewell officiating. Burial will follow at Ogden Cemetery on Dayton Mountain.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM, in the Chapel.
