Tate Harrison Obituary

Tate Harrison, 83, passed away June 23, 2020 at his home in Dayton, TN.

Tate was a lifelong resident of Rhea County and a member of Cranmore Cove Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon in his church, was a member of Gideon’s International, received Man of the Year in Lions Club, coached little league football and Dixie Youth baseball for 20+ years and was the owner of Harrison OK Tires.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Tate and Juanita Harrison and his sister, Ilene Lasley.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Bobbie Jean Harrison; children, Tim (Michelle) Harrison, Steve (Lynne) Harrison and Sherri (Mitch) Davis; brother in law, Rev. Don Lasley; grandchildren, Keisha, Bryan, Michael, Kaily, Aubree, Emma, Casey; several great grandchildren and 3 nephews; Marty, Paul and Barry Lasley.

Service will be Friday, June 26, 2020 at 1:00pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

Family will receive friends Friday, June 26, 2020 from 11:00-1:00,

Interment will be at Spring City Cemetery.
