Teresa Laher, 67, of Dayton, Tennessee, went home to be with her savior on Sunday, June 28, 2026, while resting peacefully at home.
Born on September 16, 1958, to the late Claude and Maude Walker, Teresa was a lifelong resident of the Dayton area. She retired from La-Z-Boy after many years of dedicated service and was a member of Old Washington Baptist Church.
Teresa's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a devoted wife, sharing 47 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Keith, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent with those she loved. She also enjoyed fishing and had a deep appreciation for music.
In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her daughter, Tonette Laher, and her sister, Claudine Begunich.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Keith Laher; her son, Tristin Laher and wife, Vanna; four grandchildren, Kerstin Kiest and husband, Cory, Precious Bray and husband, Rylan, Camden Parton, and Wylie Gean Laher; six great-grandchildren, Monroe Swafford, and Rebel, Octavia, Motley, Moxey-Rue, and Huxley Kiest; her niece, Kelsi Eastman and husband, Josh; her nephew, Justin McDaniel; and many other extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, in the chapel of Coulter-Garrison Funeral Home with Rev. Beverly Louallen officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Kiuka Cemetery.
