Terry Gene White

Terry Gene White, age 74, of Dayton, TN passed away on September 30, 2021, at CHI Memorial Hospital. A long-time resident of Texas, Terry had been residing in Dayton for the past year. He had worked as an Manufacturing Engineer for Lockheed Martin for over 46 years. Terry was an avid sports enthusiast and participated in a variety of sports including running, hunting, and cross-country skiing. He especially loved camping and being outdoors with family and friends. Terry will be remembered for having a great sense of humor and a big “heart of gold.”

He is preceded in death by his parents Gene and Mildred (Kirkland) White; brothers, Chuck and Danny White, and Rodney Arteburn; sister, Janice Rounsevel.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Defore White; his children, Travis (Karey) White of Utah, Erica (Ryan Baumgartner) White of Idaho, Autumm (Matt) Brechwald of Idaho, Richie Fields of Texas, and J. R. Fields of Texas; brother, James White; sister, Adele Pepple; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 15th, 2021 at Cove Cemetery in Dayton, TN.
