Tommy Ray Rivers of Sale Creek, TN passed away August 4, 2019.

Tommy grew up in Sale Creek, went to Sale Creek High School and was a member of Sale Creek Church of God.

He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin T. Rivers of Alexander, LA; maternal grandparents, Hershell and Viola Burton of Sale Creek and paternal grandparents, Clarence and Erma Rivers of Alexander, LA.

He is survived by his loving mother and step-father, James and Ruth Tennyson of Sale Creek, TN; step-brother, Stanley Tennyson of Nashville, TN; step-sister, Renee Tennyson of Chattanooga, TN; special friends, Kimberly Caraway, Mark and Teesha Harwood and Greg Holden all of Graysville, TN; aunts, Anita Gibson of Hixson, TN and Leola Hindman of Soddy Daisy, TN and uncle, Doc Rivers of Alexander, LA.

Service will be Monday, August 19, 2019 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Bishop Terry Bolton officiating. Interment will follow at Rogers Cemetery in Sale Creek.

Family will receive friends Monday, August 19, 2019 from 12:00-2:00pm.
