Tommy Travis, 82, passed away at his home in Dayton, TN Monday evening, February 8, 2021.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all. He retired from Dupont after 33 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Sr. and Pauline Bandy Travis; sister, Betty Jean Travis Wilson and an infant brother.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Sue Boyd Travis of Dayton, TN; children, Brent (Ramona) Travis, Kristi (Rodney) Lockhart, Brian (Laura) Travis and Brad Travis; grandchildren, Bryce Travis, Travis Lockhart, Sarah Lockhart, Austin Travis and Andrew Travis; brothers, Ken Travis of Dayton, TN and Donald (Andrea) Travis of Centreville, VA and several nieces and nephews.
Service will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Dayton Church of God at 2:00pm with Rev. Edward Lane Davis officiating.
Family will receive friends at the church Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 11:00am-2:00pm.
The church is set up for social distancing and masks are recommended.
Interment will be at Rhea Memory Gardens immediately following the service.
