Tonnie "Mama T" Michelle (Wright) Swearingen

Tonnie “Mama T”  Michelle Swearingen, 65, of Graysville, Tennessee, passed away on January 28, 2025, at Rhea Medical Center.

Born in Merced, California, on February 7,1959, to Billy and Phyllis Wright, Tonnie was of the Lutheran faith.

She was a woman of great strength, independent, and loving. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who cherished spending time with her family. She was known for her loving and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Tonnie had a passion for crafts, music, and cooking, and her warmth and creativity touched everyone around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a husband Robert Swearingen and a brother, Craig Wright.

Tonnie leaves behind her children, Alysha Swearingen, Corey (Amanda) Swearingen, Sierra Swearingen, and Maria Dunigan. She also leaves behind her grandchildren: Kylee Swearingen, Jaxson Swearingen, Ashlyn Swearingen, Raelyn Swearingen, Amethyst Knox,  Skyelyne Mathis, Zeke Levi, Austin Thurman, Chance Thurman, Ethan Thurman, Devon Dunigan, Avery Dunigan, and Shyah Dunigan.

In addition, she is survived by her brother, Chris Wright, and sister, Stacey Howard.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
