Tracy was a lifelong resident of Rhea Co., and was plant operator for the waste water plant for the City of Dayton.and a member and deacon of Waldens Ridge Baptist Church. He was a former Rhea Co. commissoner in district 9. Captain of Kiuka fire dept., former president of Waldens Ridge Community Club, former Rhea Co. sheriffs deputy, and a member of the Rescue Squad.
He was preceded by his father Willard Taylor, paternal grandparents C.Z. and Vola Taylor, maternal grandparents Lloyd and Lois Hudson.
He is survived by his mother Barbara Hudson Taylor Dayton, Tn., two brothers Randy Taylor, Tim (Myra) Taylor, both of Dayton, Tn. one niece Angela( Jeffery) Thompson, nephew Zach Taylor, four great nephews Trevor, RyLee, and Ashton Bunn, Isaac Thompson.
Funeral services will be Monday at 3:00 p.m. at the Waldens Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Levengood officiating. Burial will follow in Kiuka-Rogers cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Waldens Ridge Baptist Church building fund. The body will lie in state Monday at the church from 2:00p.m. till time of service.
