Uncle Roy Bowman

Roy Donald Bowman "Uncle Roy" as everyone that met him called him. Was born in Bakewell, Tn on Oct 21, 1952. Roy was raised by his loving sister Brenda Skiles for the last 34 yrs of his life, with the help of their younger brother Joe Bowman and Roy's late brother-in-law Mick Skiles. When Roy loved he loved BIG! Everyone that met him adore him and you had a lifelong friend.

He is survived by siblings Brenda, Joe, Steve, Duane (Wanda), Rocky and Shirley. His nieces Cindy (Jason) Brown, Jessica (Cory) Kearns, Christie (Ronnie) Douglas and other nieces/nephews. Great nephews Austin (Megan) Brown, Dakota Brown, Jessie Long, Jared Long and great nieces Savannah (Jeron Wallin) Defur and Kady Defur. Great-great nephew Aiden Brown and three great-great nieces Baylen Brown, Freya Wallin and Laikyn Brown.

He is proceeded in death by the late Homer (Ellen) Bowman, brother Rex Dale Bowman and loving great niece Aleigha Marie.

Visitation will be on Sunday October 13, 2024, from 5pm – 7pm at Coulter Garrison Funeral Home. Funeral Service is Monday October 14, 2024, at 1pm in the Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Archie Poole Officiating Interment will follow at Welsh Rogers Cemetery.
