Warren Colbaugh Obituary

Warren Albert Colbaugh, 90, passed away September 30, 2020 at his home in Dayton, TN.

He was a lifelong resident of Rhea County. He was a farmer and a member of New Union Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school and served as Sunday school Superintendent. He loved his grandchildren, family, gardening and his flowers and he liked Dodge trucks and International tractors.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Minnie Colbaugh; sisters, Catherine Thurman, Corine Wampler, Nina Wilkey and grandson Dylan Bradley Colbaugh.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Margaret Colbaugh of Dayton, TN; children, Karen Ward, Ray (Kim) Colbaugh and Linda (Ronnie) Shoemate all of Dayton, TN; grandchildren, Ashley McSpadden, Katlyn Hawthorne, Kristen Colbaugh; great grandchildren, Bayley and Tinley McSpadden and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 2:00pm at Buttram Cemetery with Dr. Danny Ruehling and Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.

There will be no visitation.
