Wendell Royce Dotson

Wendell Royce Dotson, age 76, of Dayton, TN. passed away August 20, 2024 with his family by his side. He was a life long resident of Rhea County and attended Oak Hill Baptist Church.

He loved going on car rides and being outside watching the birds at the bird feeders. He was a lover of his cats. They held a very special place in his heart. His favorite place to eat was Cracker Barrel.

Wendell was preceded in death by his wife; Martha Dotson, Parents; Jack and Bessie Stewart Dotson, 3 infant siblings; Felix, Tommy and Francis Dotson, Brother; Morris Dotson (June), Sister; Faye Dotson, Nephews; Dwayne Wooden, Barry Dotson, Alex and Adam Dotson, and Niece; Angel Dotson.

He is survived by siblings; Wesley (Wendy) Dotson, Gary (Elaine) Dotson, Winona Hall, Eileen McMillen, Lou Morgan all of Dayton, Nonivee Wooden and Yvonne (Gary) Swafford of Pikeville.

Funeral Service will be held Friday August 23, 2024 at 2pm in the Chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Swafford officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until start of the service. Internment will be at Spring City Memorial Gardens.
